    It was the poolates promo video from poolates.com.

    Maybe this is one of those it-was-funny-in-my-head moments. I keep reading (and hearing) the word as poo-lates.

    @JenA Oh there were SO many things that were a little weird about that video. The poo lates was just the icing on top. But then again, I've a really strange sense of humor :-D

    Another video that comes up relatedly shows maneuvers very similar to what I do every day in the pool, tho' without the floaty.

    While agree the concept is flawed, your comment about fat and clumsy is unnecessary.
